Cast of the 1978 series Battlestar Galactica
First episode of Battlestar Galactica aired on ABC: The original series starred Lorne Green and lasted only one season (24 episodes), although a sequel series Galactica 1980 ran for another 10 episodes. In 2003 a remake was launched with a miniseries and then followed by 4 seasons of TV episodes.
